o Export >> CSV – Export the selected bank data to a CSV format file. This type of file
can then be directly loaded into Microsoft Excel and other programs.
o Export >> Clipboard – Export the Source Bank data to the “Clipboard” for later
Importation into a different data file.
o Import << Clipboard – Import the “Clipboard” data into the Destination Bank of the
current data file.
o Move Data – Copy or Export the Source Bank data and then initialize the Source Bank
data. WARNING – This option deletes (initializes) any selected Bank Configuration
Data, Channel Data, Talkgroup Data and Fleet Map Data after the Copy or Export
when invoked. Use with caution!
o All Banks – Used with the Export >> CSV function. Designates that you want to export
all bank data to the CSV file.
2. Select Source Bank Ranges Section – Displays the Bank Number, Name and data ranges of
the bank selected as the Source Bank for the copy function. The Source Bank is determined by
the Bank Number being edited when the Copy button is pressed, by the bank selected from the
list or by the bank information stored in the “Clipboard” when the Import function is selected.
o Source Bank Number – Displays the Bank Number of the bank selected as the Source
Bank for the copy function.
o Source Bank Name - Displays the Bank Name of the bank selected as the Source Bank
for the copy function.
o Fr: Chnls: To: - Displays, or allows the user to set, the Source Range of channels to
be copied or exported from the Source Bank. From: would be the first channel number
in the range and To: would be the last channel number in the range. These list boxes are
dynamically updated when settings are made. If the user picks a From: channel of 421
in bank #3 then the To: list box is re-populated with only the valid channel numbers for
the range; 422 – 500. The Chnls: text box is then updated with the total number of
channels in the range.
o Fr: Slocs: To: - Displays, or allows the user to set, the Source Range of ScanList
locations containing Talkgroup IDs to be copied or exported from the Source Bank.
From: would be the first ScanList location in the range and To: would be the last
ScanList location in the range. These list boxes are dynamically updated when settings
are made. If the user picks a From: location of B1 in bank #3 then the To: list box is re-
populated with only the valid ScanList locations for the range; B2 – J0. The Slocs: text
box is then updated with the total number of channels in the range.
3. Data Selection Section – Select what type and how much Source Bank data is copied or
exported.
o Bank Config Data – Select All to copy or export the Source Bank settings including
Bank Name, Bank Type, Base Frequency, Spacing Frequency and Offset Channel. Select
None to omit the Source Bank settings from the copy.
o Channel Data - Select All to copy or export all the Source Bank channels – the copied
data for each channel includes Frequency, Alpha Tag, Attributes (Pri, Lockout, Trunk,
Attenuate, Beep Alert, Delay, etc), Step Size, Mode, etc. Select Range to specify which
channels in the bank are included in the copy. Select None to omit Source Bank channels
from the copy.
o Talkgroup Data - Select All to copy or export all the Source Bank Talkgroup IDs – the
copied data for each ID includes ID, Alpha Tag and Attributes (Pri, Lockout, Delay, etc).
