3. Relay RL1 performs the power-on reset. A relay is likely to be particularly inappropriate here

because of contact bounce.

4. Relay RL2 provides the switching between monitor mode and user mode. This is only required

if you wish to switch modes remotely.

5. Vtst is the higher-than-Vdd voltage needed to access monitor mode. See the individual data

sheets for its value.
