Note:

In order to use the MRCS in a standalone (ActiveSync mode), make sure ActiveSync is properly

connected between the device and the local system PC.

Installing MRCS on a Device

To install MRCS on a device

1. Use Motorola Remote Control shortcut in the desktop or use Start -> All Programs ->

Motorola -> MRCS -> Start Motorola Remote Control.

2. If-

o MRCS is not installed on the device, installation will be automatic.

o An older version of MRCS is installed on the device; the user will be prompted if they

want to install the newer version (

Figure 7).

• The user can continue with the existing version of MRCS on the device by

clicking No.

• The user can uninstall the older version and install the newest version by

clicking Yes.
